Internet Shopping

One thing we are seeing and taking advantage of are internet prices for various fixtures, tile, hardware, etc. I’d say that so far we have been able to get 80% of the things we have bought cheaper from internet sources than the "builders" discount shops give our Architect and GC. Sometimes the differences isn’t remarkable, in which case we have gone with a local source. But a hundred dollars here, a hundred dollars there, quickly adds up to some nice savings. Which then means we can spend more some place else. If I was a small local speciality store I would make sure my main client base is either part of the Uber rich who won’t worry about $1000 price differences or make sure that I have a really good internet based sales channel so I can compete long term.
