580 Linwood

After a really long time, seriously, after a really long purchase process for a home, Darell and I finally own 580 Linwood in January 2005. Between then and mid-2006 we do a few things to the house, OK, Darell does a few thing to the house, like walling in a door between the downstairs bedroom and the parlor/fireplace room. Lots of yard work to clear out overgrown woods all around the house (we are surrounded by park/green space). A few trees came down as they were in really bad shape and yes we did have permits and arborists OK when needed. A new fence went up as well to replace the chicken wire. Nothing major but kept us busy. In June 2005 we hosted our first “Bocci Ball in the Park cookout” with a repeat performance in June 2006. By the summer of 2006 we started thinking hard about what we would do with the house going forward. Which is when the fun really begins…
